Classes will meet for one hour each week
for children 6-9 years old at our Bodyworx location.

Throughout the semester, Kristen will work on different fitness activities, discuss the importance of being physically fit and eating right, and distribute handouts about nutrition to each child. Class participants will also take 2 field trips to the Willow Grove Giant, around the corner, for two special nutrition classes. During the classes at the Giant, we will discuss the new food pyramid, portion control (parents are encouraged to attend this one), and reading the labels of some of our favorite foods. We will also cook and taste healthy snacks and meals and do a scavenger hunt through the super market. Parents are welcome to come to the Giant with us for both of these excursions. You will be asked to sign a waiver for your child to leave the for these trips.

If needed, we will offer one make-up class on Tuesday, December 1st.
