OPEN HOUSE - Monday Feb. 11th at 4:30

Acting is pretending... be it Shakespeare or nursery rhymes.

All children are born actors. Observe the games they play…..

Powerplay offers practical performance skills in a fun, high energy environment geared for children ages 8-11.

Powerplay brings drama alive and assists in teaching vital performance, communication and stage technique. Ideal for beginners who are stars at home who want to expand their audience. Through improvisation and experimentation, Powerplay nurtures the young actor/actress to trust their own natural instinct. It is the child's ability to act and react honestly and naturally that we must constantly reinforce.

The course will run for a period of ten weeks starting on March 31st. Each class will run for 45 Minutes on Mondays from 5:00-5:45 pm and Thursdays from 4:30-5:15pm. Students are asked to dress comfortably.

Whether you are a character in a play, giving a report in school or the captain of the football team creative thinking and speaking skills are the tools that help us be successful. The aim of this class is to assist young people with their ongoing confidence, self-esteem and skill in verbal communication.
